How does CEREC work?
CEREC combines digital scanning, computer-assisted design, and in-office milling to create a restoration tailored to your tooth.
Digital scan: After preparing your tooth, we use our Primescan scanner to capture a detailed digital impression, without traditional impression trays.
Custom design: We design your crown to fit your tooth, work with your bite, and blend with your smile.
In-office creation: Our milling unit shapes your restoration from a ceramic block. We then finish it and check its fit, bite, and appearance before securing it in place.
For suitable cases, you leave that day with your final crown.
